Following the success of last year’s Art & Poetry Showcase, we are thrilled to announce that we are now taking submissions for our 2024 event.

The showcase offers people the opportunity to share their artistic vision influenced by a shared theme. This year, chosen by members of the recovery community, the theme for the showcase will be:

“Personal Journey”

At our last showcase, we were privileged to receive a number of inspiring and moving submissions. We are delighted that the winners from our event last year have agreed to sit on the judging panel for our 2024 showcase. The shortlisted submissions will be presented with a prize at a special event for the recovery community in August.

You do not need to be a member of Essex Recovery Foundation to take part, but we would like people to have a lived experience of addiction, whether that is themselves or somebody they know. The showcase offers people the opportunity to unite and to use art to share their personal experiences with others who can understand.
