We’re super excited to be working with Hadleigh Park Cycles to offer a fully-funded mountain bike session for the recovery community.
With all equipment included and led by qualified Ride Leaders, this two-hour session will guide you around some beautiful trails by bike.
Hadleigh Park Cycles believes that cycling is part confidence, part capability, and that each of those feed off the other – i.e. if you build confidence, your capability goes up, and if your capability goes up, your confidence increases. They have developed a course that teaches some basic skills while taking the group on an adventure to practice them. They can guide people with very little cycling experience as well as leading more challenging rides around the park (the former Olympic trail). Above all, they want people to enjoy their cycling and to be safe and confident.
There are three dates available to attend:
Friday 5th July 1.30 – 3.30pm
Friday 2nd August 1.30 – 3.30pm
Friday 6th September 1.30 – 3.30pm
There are only six places available for this experience, so you must register your interest in this activity first. If this is something you’d like to attend, please email hello@essexrecoveryfoundation.org to express your interest in being selected.
