Our “Sober by the Sea” community meet every week at The Ironworks in Southend-on-Sea to get together with other people in recovery.
Arrive at 10.30am for free refreshments in the main lounge. Then we’ll have an hour of activities, which will include meditation, music, art, poetry, guest speakers and more. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to socialise with the group.
This week is the first part of a two-week series called “A Vision for You” led by the wonderful Lisa. She will create a space for everybody to develop their hopes for recovery, one day at a time. Creating a vision can be a valuable way to hold yourself accountable and to improve the quality of your recovery.
No experience is required and everything will be provided - including a free hot or soft drink.
This event is open to anybody in recovery but please register your interest in attending with Lisa by emailing her on lisa@essexrecoveryfoundation.org.
