Recovery Recognition Awards
We’re pleased to announce that the Recovery Recognition Awards have returned for 2024!
On 17th May 2023, at the official launch for Essex Recovery Foundation, we hosted the first Recovery Recognition Awards.
The awards were an opportunity for us to celebrate the recovery community and the positive achievements and contributions we see every day in our work at Essex Recovery Foundation. The atmosphere throughout the presentation was phenomenal, truly capturing the positivity and vibrance of the recovery community in Essex. So, as a team, we decided there and then that we wanted to make the Recovery Recognition Awards an annual event…
… and here we are!
We are super excited to announce that the Recovery Recognition Awards will be returning for 2024 with the official presentation happening at our very own recovery festival: The Essex Recovery Festival on Saturday 3rd August.
There will be three separate categories:
Recognising a person in recovery
Recognising staff in recovery services
Recognising a person making a positive contribution to the recovery community
And this is where we need your help!
If you know somebody in the recovery community who deserves to be recognised for their achievements, we need you to nominate them! There is no criteria to the nominations, we just want to hear from you in your own words why you think this person deserves to be shortlisted.
The deadline for nominations is Sunday 30th June 2024 and the shortlisted nominees will be contacted shortly afterwards.
Join us at the festival
The awards will take place on Saturday 3rd August at the Essex Recovery Festival happening at Lambourne End Centre for Outdoor Learning (RM4 1NB), so don’t miss out on buying your tickets so that we can celebrate recovery together. Tickets to the day cost just £20 and include a full line-up of music, a packed wellbeing timetable, outdoor adventure activities (think zipline, archery and abseiling!) and lots of opportunities to connect with friends. You don’t want to miss this!
