An introduction from Jo

Hello everyone!

Hope you have all had a wonderful summer and have managed to take a break and enjoy some of the sunshine!! Its been great to see some of you taking time out of the office to join us on our walks and talks and for coming along to our first recovery festival!!  

What a weekend that was… full of happy vibes and fun times; a completely beautiful celebration of recovery. We came away inspired by the magical atmosphere that was created by the recovery community. So much so that we are already planning for next year’s festival! Keep a look out for how you can get involved as we would love you to help us make it even bigger and better! 

It was a real pleasure to announce the winners of our staff recognition awards at the festival, all of whom got a massive round of applauds for all the incredible work they do. We wanted to take this opportunity to give another massive shout out to Dev, Tracey, Della and Marie - thankyou for all you do to make a difference to the lives of others. It does feel like there is a real momentum building within Essex: a positive energy and drive for making recovery more visible, celebrated and supported.

You are all such a crucial part of that, so thankyou!
