EYPDAS is part of The Children’s Society East, one of our linked teams is the Family Support Group who offer support to family members of those struggling with addiction.
They offer 1-1 and group support, helping people to understand addiction, recognise how it impacts not just the user, set boundaries, keep people safe and rebuild healthy relationships.
Families do not have to have a family member in service with us to access this support.
In cases where both the user and family members are being supported, we have identified increased positive outcomes for the user and improved wellbeing across the family.
